Mike will implement 'best value' contracting to speed up road and bridge repairs while cutting waste. He’ll partner with NCTCOG and private industry to fund large-scale projects without overburdening taxpayers. He supports safer and more reliable public transit across the region.
Elections and Transparency
From winter storms to floods, Mike will ensure Dallas County has a modern, tested, and actionable emergency plan. He also supports energy efficiency upgrades for county buildings and responsible growth that preserves green spaces.
Public Safety
Public safety is Mike’s top priority. He will modernize the Dallas County Jail system, hire additional deputies for high-crime areas, and work closely with the Sheriff and District Attorney to keep repeat offenders off the streets. He supports crime prevention through community partnerships and youth intervention programs.

Mental Health
Mike believes we have a moral obligation to care for those in need — especially youth, veterans, and seniors. He will expand access to mental health programs, improve juvenile justice reform, and promote compassion-driven initiatives to address homelessness and housing instability.

Dallas County should be the most competitive county in Texas. Mike’s plan focuses on attracting technology, healthcare, and logistics industries, while supporting small businesses and entrepreneurs. He will work with colleges and trade schools to close skills gaps and expand workforce opportunities.
